한글 내용

본 사당은 1921년 11월 24일에 밀성박씨 후손들의 헌성금으로 건립되었으며, 매년 음력 3월 1일 전국에 살고 있는 밀성대군의 후손들이 이곳에 모여 제향을 올리고 있다.
본 사우에는 밀성박씨의 시조인 신라 54대 경명왕의 장남 밀성대군 박언침(朴彦忱)의 위패를 주벽으로 모시고 동무에는 박언부(朴彦孚), 박언인(朴彦仁), 박천익(朴天翊), 박원(朴元), 박현(朴鉉), 박원광(朴元光), 박인우(朴麟祐), 박시용(朴時庸), 박천(朴淺), 박수(朴粹), 박근(朴瑾)들의 11위를 모시고 있다. 서무에는 박언상(朴彦祥), 박양언(朴良彦), 박을재(朴乙材), 박척(朴陟), 박중미(朴中美), 박원의(朴元義), 박위(朴威), 박령(朴齡), 박치온(朴致溫), 박태익(朴泰益)들의 10위를 모시고 있다.
원덕사의 구조는 일자형 5칸 목조기와집이며, 사당의 동쪽에는 유연당과 서쪽에는 추모재가 있고 건물구조는 5칸 일자형 맞배 목조기와집이다.

영어 내용

The site of this house is known as the birthplace of Song Si-yeol (pen-name: Uam, 1607-1689). There is a dense bamboo grove directly behind the site, while a low hill and wide fields occupy the area in front of it.
Born in Okcheon, Song Si-yeol was an eminent Confucian scholar of the mid-Joseon period. He was a major member of the Kiho School of Neo-Confucianism that inherited Yi I’s academic tradition. As a leading supporter of the Noron political faction during the reigns of four Joseon kings from King Injo to King Sukjong, he was highly active in politics and fostered many scholars with his outstanding erudition.
The current building features a slate hipped roof and measures four kan (a unit of measurement referring to the distance between two columns) at the front and one and a half kan at the sides. It consists of an anbang (main living room) and an utbang (upper room), both of which have a toenmaru (narrow wooden porch), a sarangbang (master’s room), and a kitchen.
The house has rectangular-shaped pillars set on plinths placed on a foundation stone made of natural stone. Its upper structure features a four-purlin structure and a plaster panel ceiling.
A monument related to this historic house is situated to the east of the current building.
