한글 내용

평산신씨(平山申氏) 신립(申砬)장군 종가의 고문서로 1616년(광해군 8)부터 1704년(숙종 30)까지 약 100여 년 동안에 신립의 아들 신경진(申景禛), 손자 신준(申埈), 현손 신완(申琓)에게 발급된 고문서이다. 국왕의 명령 문서인 교서(敎書), 임명 문서인 고신(告身), 병력 동원과 관련된 명령을 전달하는 문서인 유서(諭書), 대신(大臣)의 정사(呈辭)에 대하여 국왕이 불윤한다는 답을 내리는 문서인 불윤비답(不允批答), 관원이 올린 상소(上疏)와 차자(箚子)에 대하여 국왕이 답을 내리는 문서인 비답(批答), 관원의 녹봉을 내리는 문서인 녹패(祿牌) 등 교령류(敎令類)가 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 17～18세기에 이르는 조선시대 교서(敎書)·고신(告身)·유서(諭書)·불윤비답(不允批答)·비답(批答)·녹패(祿牌) 등의 교령류(敎令類)의 현황을 파악할 수 있는 자료이다.

영어 내용

The Ancient Documents of the Pyeongsan Sin Clan are a collection of documents issued to Joseon General Sin Rip’s son, Sin Gyeong-jin, his grandson Sin Jun, and his great-great grandson Sin Wan between 1616 (the 8th year of the reign of Prince Gwanghae) and 1704 (the 30th year of the reign of King Sukjong). They include royal edicts, royal certificates, royal confidential orders, written royal disapprovals of ministers’ resignations, green certificates, and other written royal orders that were issued between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in Joseon.
