Nohusa Shrine, Yeongdong is located on the west side of Daeseongjeon Hall inside the grounds of Yeongdonghyanggyo Local Confucian School. In 1415 (the 15th year of the reign of King Taejong of Joseon), the newly appointed magistrate No Heung found the local Confucian school in decline, and had it repaired and maintained by donating his own property. This shrine was built to honor his virtuous deed, and a memorial service is held here every year on the night of the 14th day of the first lunar month. Nohusa Shrine is a gable-roofed structure with a floor area of 16 ㎡, and measures three kan (a unit of measurement referring to the distance between two columns) at the front.
