The Commemorative Pavilion of Sin Jip (1623-1689, pen-name: Jongsan, family clan: Goryeong, posthumous title: vice minister) and Lady Yun of the Papyeong Family (the wife of Sin U-gwon) was built to commemorate Sin Jip’s filial devotion and Lady Yun’s matrimonial devotion, in 1807, the seventh year of the reign of King Sunjo. The pavilion was rebuilt in 1898 (Gwangmu Year 2), but it was moved to its current location in 1958 due to the road works. The pavilion is a wooden structure consisting of a gable roof with double-layered eaves, with wooden pillars placed on stone pillars on all four sides of the building, which are fitted with red spikes and windbreak boards. It measures one kan (a unit of measurement referring to the distance between two columns) at the front and one kan at the sides. It is surrounded by a metal fence, with an information panel and a large gingko tree located directly in front of it.
