문화재 설명정보
학소대 각자는 수경대 각자에서 70m 가량 북쪽에 위치한다. 조선 말기 학자 송병선은 학소대의 아름다운 경치에 반해 이곳에 서벽정이라는 정자를 짓고 후진을 양성하며 소요하기도 하였다고 한다. 천 길 낭떠러지의 우뚝 솟은 모습, 수경대가 천년 송[노송]을 머리에 인 채 학소대를 굽어보는 모습은 장관을 이룬다.
The Epigraph of Haksodae is engraved on a rock, which is situated about 70 meters north of Sugyeongdae Rock. It is said that Song Byeong-seon, a scholar during the late Joseon dynasty, was so impressed by the beautiful scenery around Haksodae that he built there a pavilion called Seobyeokjeong, where he devoted himself to educating young students.
These two rocks create a splendid view, as if Sugyeongdae, on the top of which stands a thousand-year-old pine tree, is looking down on Haksodae.
